Clevedon garden
Private garden
This proposal introduces a terraced vegetable garden and orchard to an existing established garden. Curved retaining walls made of stacked boulders create flat terraces within the existing sloping ground, repeating a feature already occurring in the garden. Raised timber planters sit on the top terrace oriented and aligned to the existing planters. Large sweeping vegetable beds extend below the stone walls with a staggered grid of stone and pip fruit trees descending down the slope.
A shelterbelt of native shrubs is to be planted along the drive giving protection from the southerly wind. A specimen tree planting scheme for the wider property has also been implemented.
The garden is currently under construction.
